Room 1 Blog 2018

We are learning to do string painting and it was easy and fun! We dipped the string in paint. We put the string on one half of the paper. Then we folded the other part and pulled the string. There we had our string painting!! Then we used another colour of paint to make it look pretty. WE LOVE STRING PAINTING!! YOU CAN FIND THESE ON OUR WINDOW !

Our names are in different sizes and fonts and we have to find them. We are searching for our names and are looking for the letter shapes that are in our names. It can be a bit hard, but when we LOOK CLOSELY..... we can find them! We are putting the letters in sequence to make our name. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT AND NOW WE ARE GETTING BETTER AT IT.

We worked with a buddy to sequence the pictures on how we made a sandwich. We cut the pictures and then had to think and tell our buddy about where the pictures need to go. SUPER WORK ROOM 1 !!

We learned to make a tomato and cheese sandwich with a buddy First we spread butter on the bread. When we didn't know how to spread the butter we watched some of our classmates do it. Now we can do it too!! Then we put some slices of tomato. After that we sprinkled some cheese. Then we put a slice of bread on top. Finally we ate the sandwich. It was delicious!! We can now make our own sandwiches at home too.
