Room 1 Blog 2018

Today was our last session for kiwisport netball. We did warm ups and then we were in teams. We had to pass the ball and shoot the ball in the goal.   To shoot the goal we had to.... "Hands up, knees drop and bunny ears flop and shoot the ball". It was a really fun day!! We love netball.

Every Monday for 4 weeks we have Kiwisports Netball We had to do warm ups and learn the basics of netball moves. We learned the demi squad where we had to get our feet apart, arms out and back straight. When we got the ball off we had to do a demi squad. We loved playing the game, "What's the time Mr Wolf?"

Welcome to the new students in room 1 A warm hello to Kitty and Wyatt who have started school. They are making new friends and lots of new learning too! 

We did finger printing to make rocks, crab, jelly fish, turtle and lots of fishes. We drew the eyes and mouth for the fishes, tentacles for the jelly fish, legs for the crab and head for the turtle. We also drew some seaweed and waves. Here are our finger printing art done!!
