PREPARING FOR THE ART EXHIBITION

For the art exhibition we are making a crayon and dye art. We chose a pukeko. We had to practice the shapes for the different parts of the pukeko. We had to look closely at the picture of the pukeko and kept trying. We coloured the pukeko with the required colours neatly within the lines. We lastly dyed our picture and they looked awesome. Here is our artwork !! PLEASE COME TO SEE OUR ARTWORK IN THE SCHOOL HALL: THURSDAY FROM 4.30 - 6.30 PM  FRIDAY FROM 8.30 - 11.30 AM. SEE YOU THERE!!

Reading fun

We have been trying to make a tent using different materials and we had to try to make it stand up. We have to use our problem solving skills. We used paper, sticks and cellotape but it fell off. So we tried playdough to hold the sticks. It worked!! We are making a leaf boat with paper and we tried making a leaf boat with a real leaf. Some are reading books to a group of friends and others are listening carefully.
