LEARNING ABOUT FRACTIONS

We have been experimenting with water, paper, playdough and shapes to make fractions.
We had to make half  - 1/2
We had to make quarter - 1/4
We had to make sure the parts were equal and the same.

Here we are using water.

We are using paper strips and given shapes to make half and quarter.

We are using playdough for equal sharing.

We are using shapes to make 1/2 and 1/4.

We are sharing apples by giving 1 apple to each person at a time.
We make sure it is equal and fair, so we both have the same.
